In a tightly contested matchup, the Indianapolis Colts topped the Minnesota Vikings 17-7 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications looming, the Colts' victory solidifies their position in the hunt for a postseason berth while the Vikings look to regroup. Colts quarterback Daniel Jones led the charge with an impressive 228 passing yards, showcasing his ability to move the chains effectively. Meanwhile, Jonathan Taylor was a force on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and keeping the Vikings' defense on its heels. Keenan Allen also made significant contributions, hauling in 96 receiving yards, making crucial catches that helped maintain drives. Defensively, Grover Stewart was a standout for Indianapolis, recording two sacks that helped stifle Minnesota's offensive momentum. The game's turning point came late in the third quarter when Stewart’s pressure led to a crucial turnover on downs, allowing the Colts to maintain their lead and ultimately secure the win. Despite Andrew Van Ginkel's eight tackles for the Vikings, it wasn't enough to shift the momentum back in their favor.
