In a decisive Week 4 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 31-19, solidifying their position in the competitive AFC. With both teams seeking crucial momentum in the early season, the Chiefs were able to assert their dominance on the road. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for three touchdowns and showcasing his signature precision. Meanwhile, Kirk Cousins put up solid numbers for the Raiders with 250 passing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Chiefs' offensive firepower. Kenneth Walker contributed on the ground with 58 rushing yards, while Jalen Nailor was a standout for Las Vegas, racking up 112 receiving yards. Defensively, the Chiefs made key plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Drue Tranquill was a tackling machine with 10 total tackles, while Chris Jones made his presence felt with two sacks, consistently pressuring Cousins. L'Jarius Sneed's interception added to the Chiefs' defensive dominance, marking a pivotal moment that halted a Raiders drive and allowed Kansas City to extend their lead.
