AI Recap
AI RECAPIn a decisive opening week matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Denver Broncos with a commanding 31-10 victory. With both teams looking to set the tone for the 2026 season, the Chiefs showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball.
Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Walker was a force on the ground, racking up an impressive 173 rushing yards, while Travis Kelce contributed with 71 receiving yards, creating significant mismatches for the Denver defense.
Defensively, the Chiefs were equally impressive, with L'Jarius Sneed leading the team with seven total tackles. The turning point came in the second quarter when Mansoor Delane intercepted a pass, shifting momentum firmly in Kansas City's favor and allowing them to control the game through the second half. Zach Allen did his best for Denver with two sacks, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Chiefs' balanced attack.
