The Buffalo Bills topped the Houston Texans 34-16 in a Week 2 showdown of the 2027 season, solidifying their status as a team to watch. With both squads aiming for an early-season edge, the Bills showcased their offensive firepower and strategic prowess throughout the matchup. Josh Allen was the star of the night, throwing for three touchdowns to lead Buffalo's scoring onslaught. Khalil Shakir emerged as his favorite target, racking up 100 receiving yards and making crucial catches to extend drives. Meanwhile, Tyler Shough of the Texans put up solid numbers with 189 passing yards, but was unable to match Allen's efficiency. Defensively, the Bills were anchored by Germaine Pratt, who recorded five total tackles, contributing to a balanced effort that kept the Texans in check. A critical moment came when Davison Igbinosun intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing the Bills to seize momentum. Will Anderson Jr. of the Texans did his best to disrupt Buffalo’s rhythm with three sacks, but it wasn't enough to shift the outcome in Houston's favor.
