In a thrilling matchup, the Las Vegas Raiders topped the Denver Broncos 33-24, solidifying their position in the early stages of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for an upper hand in the division, this victory was crucial for the Raiders as they look to build momentum moving forward. Fernando Mendoza showcased his passing prowess, throwing for 252 yards and a touchdown, while also orchestrating key drives throughout the game. However, it was Josh Jacobs who stole the show on the ground, racking up 118 rushing yards, and Tre Tucker emerged as a top target, hauling in 152 receiving yards, proving to be a vital asset in crucial moments. Defensively, the Raiders were buoyed by Keeanu Benton, who recorded 1.5 sacks, disrupting the Broncos' offensive rhythm. The game’s turning point came in the fourth quarter when Benton’s pressure led to a critical turnover, allowing the Raiders to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win. KJ Bolden of the Broncos tallied eight tackles, but it wasn’t enough to counter Las Vegas’ offensive firepower.
