In a commanding performance, the New York Giants topped the Washington Commanders 52-13 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. The Giants entered this matchup looking to solidify their place in the standings, and they did so emphatically, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess throughout the game. Jaxson Dart led the charge for New York, throwing for 260 yards and an impressive five touchdowns, effectively distributing the ball and exploiting the Commanders' secondary. Chase Brown added a strong ground game, racking up 101 rushing yards, while Malik Nabers emerged as Dart's favorite target, finishing with 118 receiving yards. The Giants' offensive line provided solid protection, allowing Dart to operate with confidence. Defensively, Abdul Carter was a standout, registering six total tackles and a staggering 2.5 sacks, consistently pressuring the Commanders' quarterback and stifling their offensive rhythm. The game turned decisively in the second quarter when Carter's relentless pursuit led to a key sack, forcing a turnover that the Giants capitalized on with another touchdown. Nate Wiggins also contributed with an interception, sealing the fate of the Commanders and ensuring the Giants' dominance on both sides of the ball.
