In a dominating performance, the Houston Texans topped the Miami Dolphins 55-21 in Week 12 of the 2027 season, solidifying their playoff aspirations. The Texans showcased their offensive prowess, leaving the Dolphins struggling to keep pace throughout the game. Quarterback Jalen Milroe was the standout star for Houston, throwing for 396 yards and four touchdowns while also leading the ground game with 103 rushing yards. His ability to stretch the field and connect with receivers, including Cam Coleman who racked up 95 receiving yards, was instrumental in the Texans' offensive explosion. With Milroe at the helm, Houston consistently found ways to put points on the board. Defensively, the Texans applied pressure with Sheldon Rankins contributing a key sack, while the Miami defense struggled to contain the high-flying Houston offense. The turning point came early in the second half when Milroe connected for a touchdown that extended the lead to three scores, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Dolphins. Houston's ability to dominate in all phases of the game was evident, as they outlasted Miami in a convincing victory.
