The Houston Texans secured a commanding 48-28 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Texans showcased their offensive prowess, solidifying their position in the race for postseason glory. Jalen Milroe led the charge for Houston, throwing for an impressive 348 yards and contributing significantly to the scoreboard. Jeremiah Smith emerged as his favorite target, racking up 104 receiving yards, while the Texans' balanced attack kept Jacksonville's defense off balance throughout the game. Trevor Lawrence put forth a valiant effort for the Jaguars, tossing two touchdown passes, but it ultimately wasn't enough to keep pace with Houston's explosive offense. Defensively, the Texans made crucial plays that shifted the momentum of the game. Kyle Hamilton's interception served as a pivotal turning point, halting a potential scoring drive from the Jaguars and allowing Houston to extend their lead. While the Jaguars' Antonio Johnson led the team with six tackles, it was Houston's ability to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers that ultimately sealed the victory.
