In a thrilling Divisional Round matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars narrowly defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 28-20, securing a spot in the next round of the playoffs. The stakes were high, with both teams eager to advance further in the 2027 season, but it was the Jaguars who emerged victorious, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive grit. Trevor Lawrence was the star of the show for Jacksonville, tossing four touchdown passes to lead his team. Bhayshul Tuten added to the offensive explosion with a solid performance on the ground, racking up 89 rushing yards. Meanwhile, Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow put together a respectable game, throwing for 278 yards, but it wasn't enough to match the Jaguars' offensive firepower. Defensively, the Jaguars made key plays when it mattered most, led by Caleb Ransaw, who recorded nine total tackles, and Christian Rozeboom, who contributed a sack that disrupted Cincinnati's rhythm. The game turned in Jacksonville's favor late in the third quarter when Lawrence connected on a crucial touchdown pass, sealing the momentum that the Bengals could not reclaim in the final frame.
