The Baltimore Ravens opened their 2026 season with a commanding 24-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. This Week 1 matchup showcased the Ravens' offensive prowess and solidified their position as early contenders in the league, while the Colts will need to regroup after a tough start. Derrick Henry led the Ravens' ground attack with 81 rushing yards, consistently moving the chains and establishing a dominant run game. Quarterback Daniel Jones of the Colts managed to throw for 194 yards and a touchdown, but his performance was overshadowed by the effectiveness of Baltimore's offense. Alec Pierce was a bright spot for Indianapolis, racking up 124 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome. Defensively, the Ravens made their presence felt, with Mike Green recording 1.5 sacks and Kyle Hamilton snagging an interception, which proved to be a crucial moment in the game. The Ravens' defense stifled the Colts' offense, particularly in the second half, when they turned the tide and limited Indianapolis to just a single touchdown. The key turning point came when Hamilton's interception halted a promising Colts drive, allowing Baltimore to regain control and maintain their lead.
