In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the New York Giants triumphed over the Houston Texans with a final score of 35-17, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Giants showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball, while the Texans struggled to keep pace in the second half. Jaxson Dart led the Giants’ offense with two touchdown passes, demonstrating efficiency and poise in the pocket. Meanwhile, Cam Skattebo was a force on the ground, racking up an impressive 180 rushing yards, consistently breaking through the Texans’ defense. The combination of Dart’s aerial attack and Skattebo’s ground game proved too much for Houston to handle. Defensively, the Giants put pressure on the Texans’ offense, with D.J. Reader contributing a key sack that disrupted the rhythm of quarterback C.J. Stroud, who finished with 255 passing yards but struggled to find the end zone. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Giants forced a turnover, allowing them to capitalize and extend their lead just before halftime, setting the tone for the remainder of the game.
