In an impressive start to the 2026 season, the Seattle Seahawks topped the New England Patriots 31-15, showcasing their offensive prowess and solidifying their early lead in the league. With both teams looking to establish momentum, the Seahawks proved to be the stronger side, dominating the scoreboard and setting a tone for the weeks to come. Quarterback Jalen Milroe was the standout performer for Seattle, throwing for 263 yards and three touchdowns, effectively guiding the offense throughout the game. He connected well with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who racked up 89 receiving yards, while Jadarian Price contributed on the ground with a modest but crucial 36 rushing yards, helping to keep the chains moving when needed. Defensively, the Seahawks made their mark with Derick Hall leading the charge, notching two sacks that disrupted New England’s rhythm. The game turned in the second quarter when Seattle's defense stifled a Patriots drive, allowing Milroe to capitalize with a quick touchdown pass, putting Seattle ahead for good. Despite Kevin Byard III's six tackles for New England, the Patriots struggled to contain the Seahawks' explosive offense, ultimately sealing their fate in this season opener.
