In a decisive Week 2 matchup of the 2027 season, the Buffalo Bills topped the New York Jets with a final score of 35-16, solidifying their early-season dominance. This victory positions the Bills as a formidable force in the league, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Jalen Milroe was the star of the show for Buffalo, throwing for an impressive 360 yards and five touchdown passes, demonstrating his ability to connect effectively with his targets. Ryan Coleman-William also shined, racking up 112 receiving yards, while the Jets' James Conner made a strong case for his team with 157 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Bills' explosive offense. Buffalo's defense played a crucial role in the outcome, with Emmanuel Forbes Jr. leading the way with five total tackles and Byron Young contributing 1.5 sacks. Dorian Williams also made a game-changing interception, which shifted momentum in favor of the Bills. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Milroe's quick strike to Coleman-William extended Buffalo's lead, effectively putting the game out of reach for the Jets.
