In a thrilling matchup that showcased both teams’ offensive prowess, the Dallas Cowboys topped the Los Angeles Chargers 35-24 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. The win was crucial for the Cowboys as they look to establish momentum early in the season and solidify their standing in the competitive NFC. Leading the charge for Dallas was quarterback Joe Milton, who delivered a standout performance with 255 passing yards and four touchdown passes. Eli Stowers also made his mark with 92 receiving yards, providing Milton with a reliable target throughout the game. While the Chargers struggled to find their rhythm on offense, Ladanian Tomlinson managed to put up 46 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Cowboys' explosive scoring. Defensively, the Cowboys were formidable, highlighted by Caleb Downs’ impressive two interceptions that shifted the game's momentum at critical moments. Demonte Capehart added pressure with a sack, helping to keep the Chargers' offense off-balance. The turning point came in the second quarter when Dallas scored back-to-back touchdowns, creating a lead the Chargers couldn’t overcome despite a late rally.
