In a commanding performance, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Seattle Seahawks 38-14 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. The victory solidifies the Chiefs' position in the playoff race, while the Seahawks face critical questions moving forward. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, throwing for 284 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his elite passing ability. Meanwhile, Randy Moss was a dominant force in the receiving game, racking up an impressive 152 yards, creating mismatches all day long. On the ground, Adrian Peterson found some success for Seattle with 105 rushing yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the high-flying Chiefs. Defensively, the Chiefs made critical plays that shifted the momentum. Abdul Carter was particularly impactful, recording two sacks that pressured the Seahawks' offense, while Bobby Wagner's two interceptions stifled any chance of a comeback. The turning point came in the second quarter when Kansas City scored two quick touchdowns, pulling away and putting the game out of reach for Seattle.
