The Arizona Cardinals secured a decisive 36-14 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 7 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams vying for crucial conference positioning, the Cardinals' performance showcased their dominance on both sides of the ball. Leading the charge for Arizona was quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who threw for an impressive 312 yards and three touchdowns, establishing himself as a key playmaker. Marvin Mims Jr. was a standout target, racking up 177 receiving yards and proving to be a constant threat downfield. Bucky Irving led the Broncos' ground game with 69 rushing yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with Arizona's offensive firepower. On the defensive side, the Cardinals were relentless, with Riq Woolen's two interceptions playing a pivotal role in shifting momentum. Jaylinn Hawkins anchored the defense with 10 total tackles, ensuring that the Broncos struggled to find their rhythm. The turning point came late in the second quarter when McCarthy connected with Mims for a long touchdown, effectively putting the game out of reach as the Cardinals cruised to victory.
