The Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the New Orleans Saints 31-24 in a closely contested Week 7 matchup, keeping their playoff hopes alive in the 2026 season. With both teams fighting for position in the crowded playoff race, this victory was crucial for the Steelers as they look to gain momentum heading into the second half of the season. Steelers quarterback Joe Milton had an impressive outing, throwing for 319 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the offense effectively. Meanwhile, wide receiver Chase Brown was a standout performer, racking up 129 receiving yards and proving to be a reliable target. On the Saints' side, Alvin Kamara led the ground game with 65 rushing yards but couldn't find the end zone in this tightly contested battle. Defensively, the Steelers made key plays that shifted the game's momentum, particularly from cornerback Kyle Dugger, who intercepted two passes, giving Pittsburgh critical possessions. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Dugger's second interception set up a touchdown drive that ultimately sealed the victory for the Steelers.
