In a tightly contested matchup, the Denver Broncos narrowly defeated the Seattle Seahawks 20-17 in Week 6 of the 2026 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, this victory was crucial for Denver as they continue to build momentum in the league. Seattle's Michael Penix Jr. put on a stellar performance, throwing for 305 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to move the ball effectively through the air. Courtland Sutton also had a standout game, racking up 151 receiving yards, providing Penix with a reliable target downfield. However, it was Bucky Irving of the Broncos who led the ground attack with 63 rushing yards, contributing to Denver's balanced offensive approach. Defensively, the game turned on a crucial interception by DaRon Bland of the Broncos, which stifled Seattle's momentum and allowed Denver to maintain their lead. CJ Allen of the Seahawks was a force on defense, leading with 11 total tackles, while Devin Lloyd added significant pressure with 3.5 sacks. Despite Seattle's strong individual efforts, it was Denver's timely defense that ultimately secured the win.
