The Jacksonville Jaguars secured a convincing 27-7 victory over the Denver Broncos in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This matchup was pivotal for both teams as they looked to establish early momentum in the season, but it was the Jaguars who flexed their offensive prowess to claim the win. Quarterback Justin Herbert led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for one touchdown and maintaining control of the game. Although the ground game was stifled, with Breece Hall managing just 31 rushing yards, the Jaguars effectively moved the ball through the air, while Emeka Egbuka of the Broncos showcased his skills with 90 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to spark a comeback. Defensively, the Jaguars dominated, highlighted by Zach Allen's impressive 3.5 sacks, which consistently pressured Denver’s quarterback C.J. Stroud. The game turned decisively in Jacksonville's favor when Jaycee Horn intercepted Stroud, halting a potential scoring drive and shifting momentum firmly to the Jaguars. With a staunch defensive effort and key offensive plays, Jacksonville established themselves as a formidable contender early in the season.
