The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a 17-6 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5 of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the playoff race. With both teams vying for crucial conference wins, the Steelers' performance proved decisive in this tightly contested matchup. Drew Allar led the Steelers' offense with two touchdown passes, showcasing his ability to capitalize on critical opportunities. Germie Bernard was his primary target, racking up 99 receiving yards and making significant catches that kept drives alive. Meanwhile, Colts quarterback Daniel Jones threw for 194 yards, but struggled to find the end zone, hampering his team's chances of a comeback. Defensively, the Steelers held firm against the Colts, limiting their rushing attack and forcing them into tough situations. The game's turning point came when Pittsburgh's defense stifled a key drive late in the second half, allowing the Steelers to maintain their lead and control the clock. Despite a strong effort from Indianapolis' CJ Allen, who led his team with four tackles, the Colts could not overcome the Steelers' defensive resilience.
