In a decisive Week 4 matchup, the Chicago Bears cruised to a commanding 41-18 victory over the New York Jets, solidifying their position in the early stages of the 2026 season. The Bears showcased their offensive prowess, with a clear aim to assert dominance at home and build momentum for the weeks ahead. Leading the charge for Chicago was quarterback Caleb Williams, who delivered a standout performance with 395 passing yards and five touchdown passes. Rome Odunze also shone brightly, racking up 116 receiving yards to complement Williams' impressive outing. Despite the loss, Jets’ running back Breece Hall made his presence felt, amassing 149 rushing yards, though it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Bears' explosive offense. Defensively, the Bears were relentless, with Coby Bryant leading the team in tackles, contributing to a strong overall effort. The turning point came late in the second quarter when Dillon Thieneman intercepted a pass from the Jets, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing Chicago to extend their lead. With two sacks from Jordan van den Berg, the Bears' defense consistently pressured the Jets, ensuring Chicago maintained control throughout the game.
