The Indianapolis Colts cruised to a decisive 38-7 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 3 of the 2026 season. With this win, the Colts solidified their position in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive prowess against a struggling Texans team. Quarterback Daniel Jones was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 323 yards and three touchdowns, demonstrating his command of the offense. Wide receiver Alec Pierce was a key target, racking up 117 receiving yards, while Jonathan Taylor added a solid ground game with 67 rushing yards. The Colts' offensive execution proved too much for the Texans to handle throughout the game. On the defensive side, the Colts stifled the Texans' attempts to mount a comeback, but it was the Texans' defensive efforts that highlighted the struggle. Derek Stingley Jr. led with eight tackles, and Will Anderson Jr. contributed significantly with two sacks. The turning point came early in the game when the Colts scored two quick touchdowns, setting the tone and leaving the Texans in an uphill battle they could never quite overcome.
