The Kansas City Chiefs came away with a decisive 34-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 17 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Chiefs solidified their position as a postseason contender, while the Chargers struggled to find their footing in this crucial matchup. Patrick Mahomes led the charge for Kansas City, racking up 306 passing yards and connecting with his standout receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who tallied 137 receiving yards. Kenneth Walker also made significant contributions on the ground, rushing for 90 yards and helping establish a dominant offensive presence throughout the game. Despite Justin Herbert's lone touchdown pass, the Chargers' offense was largely ineffective against the Chiefs' defense. Defensively, the game was highlighted by a relentless Chiefs pass rush that kept Herbert under constant pressure. Khalil Mack registered a sack for Los Angeles, but it was not enough to change the momentum. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Chiefs forced a turnover that led to a quick touchdown, giving them a commanding lead that the Chargers could never recover from.
