In a commanding performance, the New England Patriots topped the Minnesota Vikings 20-3 in Week 14 of the 2026 season. This win keeps New England firmly in the playoff race as they look to solidify their standing heading into the final weeks of the season. The Vikings, on the other hand, face mounting pressure as they attempt to stay relevant in the postseason picture. Drake Maye led the way for the Patriots, throwing for 132 yards and a touchdown, showcasing a steady hand in a game that saw limited offensive fireworks. TreVeyon Henderson contributed significantly on the ground with 42 rushing yards, while the Vikings' Justin Jefferson recorded 53 receiving yards, but it was not enough to spark a comeback. New England's offense managed to control the tempo and keep the pressure on Minnesota throughout the match. Defensively, the Patriots shined, highlighted by Erick Hunter's pivotal interception that thwarted a potential Vikings scoring drive. The turning point came in the second quarter when New England’s defense forced a turnover, allowing their offense to capitalize and extend their lead. While the Vikings' Jake Golday tallied three total tackles and Jalen Redmond recorded two sacks, it was ultimately the Patriots’ ability to limit big plays that sealed the victory.
