In a commanding performance, the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 43-17 in Week 3 of the 2027 season. With this victory, the Falcons improved their record and solidified their position as a strong contender in the league early on. Quarterback LaNorris Sellers was the standout on offense, throwing for 261 yards and four touchdowns, showcasing his ability to lead the Falcons' attack effectively. Trey Palmer added to the aerial assault with 74 receiving yards, providing a reliable target for Sellers. On the ground, Saquon Barkley led the Eagles with 74 rushing yards, but Philadelphia struggled to keep pace with Atlanta's explosive offense. Defensively, the Falcons made a significant impact with Jadon Canady's two interceptions, which shifted momentum in favor of Atlanta at crucial moments. The Eagles' defense, while featuring Jihaad Campbell's six total tackles and Zack Baun's 1.5 sacks, could not contain the Falcons' scoring onslaught. The turning point came in the second quarter when Canady's first interception set up a quick touchdown, propelling Atlanta to a commanding lead they would not relinquish.
