In a decisive Week 11 showdown, the Minnesota Vikings toppled the San Francisco 49ers with a commanding 26-9 victory. This win solidifies the Vikings' position in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience against a struggling 49ers squad. Kyler Murray led the charge for Minnesota, throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns, while Trey Benson made a significant impact on the ground with 103 rushing yards. Jayden Reed was a standout in the receiving game, racking up 107 yards and creating mismatches throughout the contest. The Vikings' balanced offensive attack proved too much for the 49ers to handle. On the defensive side, Andrew Van Ginkel was a force, notching two sacks and applying constant pressure on the San Francisco quarterback. The turning point came when Byron Murphy Jr. intercepted a pass in the second half, halting a potential drive and allowing the Vikings to extend their lead. With solid contributions from both sides of the ball, Minnesota not only secured the win but also sent a message to the rest of the league.
