In a decisive showdown, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a commanding score of 30-3 in Week 6 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications looming, the Steelers showcased their dominance, leaving the 49ers struggling to respond. Steelers quarterback Drew Allar was the standout performer, throwing for 223 yards and three touchdowns, providing a strong aerial attack that kept San Francisco's defense on its heels. Wide receiver DK Metcalf was his primary target, racking up 111 receiving yards and contributing significantly to the offensive onslaught. Meanwhile, Raleek Brown led the ground game, albeit with just 15 rushing yards, as the Steelers leaned heavily on their passing game. On the defensive side, Pittsburgh's unit suffocated the 49ers' offense, limiting them to just three points. Daylen Everette led the Steelers with three total tackles, reinforcing their solid defensive efforts throughout the game. The turning point came early in the second quarter when an interception by Brice Pollock of the 49ers failed to shift momentum, allowing the Steelers to maintain control and secure the win.
