In a decisive Week 6 matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs topped the Green Bay Packers 31-14, solidifying their position in the playoff hunt. With both teams vying for momentum in the 2027 season, the Chiefs delivered a commanding performance to secure the victory at home. Patrick Mahomes showcased his elite talent, throwing for 373 yards and two touchdowns, leading an explosive Kansas City offense. He was complemented by Kenneth Walker, who racked up 118 rushing yards, and Xavier Worthy, who torched the Packers' secondary with 171 receiving yards, making significant contributions to the Chiefs' offensive onslaught. Defensively, the Chiefs were able to apply consistent pressure, with R Mason Thomas recording a key sack that disrupted Green Bay’s rhythm. Despite Benjamin St-Juste’s ten tackles for the Packers, Kansas City's defense effectively stifled any comeback attempts, especially in the second half when they limited Green Bay to just one touchdown, sealing the game with their relentless effort. The turning point came late in the third quarter when Mahomes connected with Worthy for a touchdown that extended the lead to 24-7, putting the game out of reach for the Packers.
