The Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Carolina Panthers 27-11 in a decisive Week 7 matchup of the 2027 season. With both teams vying for playoff positioning, the Jaguars showcased their strength at home, delivering a performance that could set the tone for the remainder of the season. Trevor Lawrence led the Jaguars' offensive efforts, throwing for a touchdown while Bryce Young of the Panthers racked up 247 passing yards, the game’s highest. Ahmad Hardy contributed significantly on the ground for Carolina, rushing for 84 yards, and Jalen Coker was a reliable target, finishing with 92 receiving yards. However, it was Lawrence's efficient play that kept the Panthers at bay. Defensively, the Jaguars made their presence felt, with Jarrian Jones leading the team with eight total tackles. Travon Walker had a standout performance with two sacks, applying constant pressure on Young and disrupting the Panthers' rhythm. The turning point came in the second quarter when Antonio Johnson intercepted a pass, shifting momentum firmly in favor of Jacksonville and allowing them to maintain control for the rest of the game.
