In a pivotal Week 7 matchup, the Pittsburgh Steelers emerged victorious against the Denver Broncos with a final score of 38-24. The win solidifies the Steelers’ position in the playoff race, while the Broncos will need to regroup as they look to regain momentum in the second half of the season. Drew Allar led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for an impressive 392 yards and connecting on key plays that kept the Broncos on their heels. DK Metcalf was his primary target, racking up 92 receiving yards and making several clutch catches that extended drives. Despite a strong performance from Denver's Bo Nix, who tossed three touchdown passes, it was not enough to overcome the Steelers' offensive firepower. Defensively, Cam Heyward made his presence felt with a sack that disrupted Denver's rhythm at critical moments. The turning point came late in the second quarter when the Steelers' defense forced a turnover, allowing Pittsburgh to capitalize and extend their lead. With Pat Surtain II leading the Broncos' defense with nine tackles, it was ultimately the Steelers' ability to make big plays and timely stops that secured their victory.
