In a commanding performance, the Minnesota Vikings topped the Indianapolis Colts 31-3 in Week 7 of the 2026 season. With this victory, Minnesota solidifies its position in the playoff race, while the Colts struggle to find momentum as the season progresses. Kyler Murray led the Vikings’ offense with a solid outing, throwing for 140 yards and one touchdown. However, it was Demond Claiborne who shone brightest on the ground, racking up an impressive 149 rushing yards, allowing the Vikings to dominate time of possession. Jordan Addison contributed with 52 receiving yards, providing Murray with a reliable target throughout the game. Minnesota's defense played a pivotal role in the outcome, stifling the Colts' attempts to gain traction. The turning point came in the second quarter when Isaiah Rodgers Sr. intercepted a pass, setting up a scoring drive that pushed the lead to 21-3. With Andrew Van Ginkel adding a sack and Jake Golday leading the team with two tackles, the Vikings' defensive unit ensured the Colts never found their rhythm, sealing a decisive victory.
