In a stunning display of offensive firepower, the Kansas City Chiefs dominated the Indianapolis Colts with a final score of 75-17 in Week 2 of the 2026 season. This victory not only showcased Kansas City's explosive offense but also established them as a formidable contender early in the year. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was the star of the night, throwing for an astounding 409 yards and an eye-popping 10 touchdown passes. He connected with Xavier Worthy for a standout performance, as Worthy racked up 169 receiving yards, helping the Chiefs amass a staggering total of points. Meanwhile, Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr managed to put together an impressive 91 rushing yards, but it was clear that his efforts were overshadowed by Kansas City's relentless attack. Defensively, the Chiefs were just as dominant, led by Lewis Cine's five total tackles, Peter Woods' three sacks, and Alohi Gilman's two interceptions. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Mahomes tossed three touchdown passes in quick succession, turning a competitive game into a blowout. Kansas City's ability to pressure the quarterback and create turnovers was instrumental in securing this commanding victory.
