In a thrilling Week 2 matchup of the 2026 season, the Denver Broncos outlasted the Jacksonville Jaguars with a final score of 57-49. Both teams entered the game looking to secure an early-season victory, but it was the Broncos who showcased their offensive prowess and made the most of their opportunities. Bo Nix led the charge for Denver with a staggering 508 passing yards, while RJ Harvey dominated the ground game with 187 rushing yards. The Broncos' receiving corps was equally impressive, with Jaylen Waddle racking up 256 receiving yards and contributing significantly to the team's scoring efforts. Trevor Lawrence kept the Jaguars in contention with four touchdown passes, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Broncos' explosive offense. Defensively, Nik Bonitto made his mark with two sacks, applying constant pressure on Lawrence and disrupting the Jaguars' rhythm. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Ja'Quan McMillian intercepted a crucial pass, halting a potential game-tying drive and sealing the victory for Denver. The Broncos' ability to make impactful plays on both sides of the ball ultimately determined the outcome in this high-octane affair.
