The Indianapolis Colts topped the Houston Texans 38-21 in a decisive Week 3 matchup of the 2026 season, solidifying their position in the early playoff race. Both teams entered the game looking to build momentum, but it was the Colts who came out firing on all cylinders. C.J. Stroud led the Texans' offense with 163 passing yards, but it was David Montgomery who shined on the ground, racking up 126 rushing yards and keeping the Colts' defense on its toes. Kayshon Boutte was the standout receiver, contributing 78 yards, but Houston's offensive efforts fell short against a determined Indianapolis squad. Defensively, the Colts made their mark, with Charvarius Ward Sr. leading the charge with nine total tackles. A.J. Haulcy's interception proved to be a crucial moment in the game, halting a potential Texans scoring drive and shifting momentum back to Indianapolis. Will Anderson Jr. of Houston did his best to disrupt the Colts' rhythm with 1.5 sacks, but it was the Colts' defense that ultimately dictated the pace and secured the win.
