In a commanding performance, the New Orleans Saints topped the Cleveland Browns 31-6 in Week 9 of the 2026 Madden season. With this victory, the Saints solidify their playoff positioning as they look to make a deep run in the postseason. Tyler Shough led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for 249 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his precision and poise in the pocket. Travis Etienne Jr. added a powerful ground game with 130 rushing yards, consistently breaking through the Browns' defense. Meanwhile, Chris Olave was a reliable target, racking up 92 receiving yards, helping to keep drives alive and maintain offensive momentum. Defensively, the Saints made their mark with a solid performance that included a key interception by Julian Blackmon and a sack from Cameron Jordan. The turning point came in the second quarter when Blackmon's interception halted a Browns drive and led to a quick scoring opportunity for New Orleans, shifting the momentum firmly in their favor. The Browns struggled to respond, as the Saints' defense effectively stifled their attempts to gain traction in the game.
