In a dominant performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints 38-7 in Week 15 of the 2026 season. With playoff positioning on the line, the Buccaneers showcased their strength, leaving little doubt about their intentions as they push toward the postseason. Baker Mayfield was the star of the show for Tampa Bay, throwing for 335 yards and four touchdowns, effectively dismantling the Saints' defense. Caleb Douglas contributed significantly with 78 receiving yards, providing Mayfield with a reliable target throughout the game. Bucky Irving added a solid ground game with 50 rushing yards, helping to keep the Saints' defense off balance. Defensively, the Buccaneers were equally impressive. They stifled the Saints’ offense, allowing just a single touchdown and forcing crucial turnovers, including an interception by Tykee Smith. The turning point came in the second quarter when the Buccaneers scored back-to-back touchdowns, effectively putting the game out of reach and securing a comfortable lead that the Saints could not overcome.
