In a dominant display, the Pittsburgh Steelers crushed the Cincinnati Bengals 49-0 in Week 2 of the 2027 season. With both teams seeking to establish their identities early in the year, the Steelers made a resounding statement, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive tenacity. Quarterback Kavian Bryant led the charge for Pittsburgh, throwing for 338 yards and five touchdowns, effectively dismantling the Bengals' secondary. He found favorite target Nyziah Hunter for 138 receiving yards, contributing significantly to the offensive onslaught. Meanwhile, Chase Brown stood out for Cincinnati with a commendable 130 rushing yards, but his efforts were overshadowed by his team's inability to find the end zone. Defensively, the Steelers were relentless, with Kaden Hill racking up six tackles and Cole Holcomb adding a sack to the mix. However, it was Jimmy Rolder's two interceptions that marked the game's turning point, halting any potential momentum the Bengals could have built. Pittsburgh's defense not only suffocated Cincinnati's offense but also set the tone for an unforgettable victory.
