In a dominant performance, the Oakland Dragons secured a decisive 45-20 victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 of the 2027 season. The Dragons showcased their offensive prowess, looking to establish themselves as a force in the league early on this season. Leading the charge for Oakland was quarterback Bryce Underwood, who threw for an impressive 361 yards and six touchdowns, proving nearly unstoppable throughout the game. Meanwhile, Dario Gray of the Cowboys put forth a valiant effort with 188 receiving yards, but the Dragons' offensive firepower ultimately proved too much to overcome. Savion Hiter contributed on the ground with 30 rushing yards, but the ground game was not a focal point for either team. Defensively, the Dragons made their mark with Caleb Downs recording six total tackles, while Will Anderson Jr. added a pivotal interception that shifted momentum in the second half. The game's turning point came when Anderson's interception led to a quick touchdown drive, allowing Oakland to stretch their lead and maintain control. Abdul Carter's impressive 2.5 sacks for Dallas highlighted their defensive effort, but it was not enough to keep pace with the explosive Dragons offense.
