In a decisive Week 7 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks topped the Cincinnati Bengals 21-7, solidifying their position in the playoff race. The Seahawks entered the game needing a win to maintain momentum, and they delivered with a strong performance on both sides of the ball. Offensively, the Seahawks were led by running back Javari Barnett, who rushed for 75 yards and contributed significantly to their ground game. Quarterback play was efficient as well, supporting the scoring efforts, while Joe Burrow of the Bengals threw for 230 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn't enough to keep his team competitive in the face of Seattle's balanced attack. Defensively, the Seahawks showcased their prowess, with Oluwafemi Oladejo racking up two sacks, putting consistent pressure on Burrow. The turning point came in the second half when Seattle's defense stifled a crucial Bengals drive, forcing a turnover on downs that allowed the Seahawks to extend their lead and ultimately secure the victory. With this win, Seattle continues to build confidence as they head deeper into the season.
