In a dominating display, the New York Jets crushed the Buffalo Bills 56-14 in Week 8 of the 2027 season. With this decisive victory, the Jets solidified their position in the playoff race, showcasing their offensive power against a struggling Bills team. Deuce Knight was the star of the night, throwing for an impressive 453 yards and seven touchdowns, proving to be nearly unstoppable. His favorite target, Jax Dejean, racked up 255 receiving yards, consistently finding space in the Buffalo secondary. Meanwhile, James Cook III managed to lead the Bills' ground game with just 35 rushing yards, illustrating the stark contrast in offensive effectiveness between the two squads. The Jets' defense played a crucial role in this blowout, with Lorenzo Styles Jr. leading the charge with four total tackles and an interception. Dylan Stewart added to the pressure with a sack, contributing to a defensive performance that stifled any Bills' momentum. The turning point came early in the second quarter when Styles’ interception set up another quick touchdown, pushing the Jets' lead to an insurmountable margin.
