In a commanding performance, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Houston Texans 45-21 in Week 12 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Buccaneers solidified their position in the postseason race with this decisive victory at home. Tampa Bay's quarterback, Legend Bay, was the standout performer, throwing for an impressive 326 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his elite playmaking ability. Meanwhile, Nico Collins of the Texans put on a strong showing with 175 receiving yards, but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Tampa Bay’s explosive offense. Bucky Irving contributed on the ground, albeit with just 18 rushing yards, as the Buccaneers relied heavily on their aerial attack. Defensively, the Buccaneers made critical plays that shifted the momentum in their favor. Kyron Johnson dominated the pass rush with 2.5 sacks, consistently pressuring the Texans' offense. The turning point came when Devin Lloyd intercepted a pass, halting a potential scoring drive and allowing Tampa Bay to extend their lead and ultimately secure the win.
