In a decisive Week 18 matchup, the Jacksonville Jaguars topped the Indianapolis Colts with a commanding 37-9 victory, solidifying their position heading into the playoffs. The Jaguars showcased their dominance, leaving no doubt about their playoff readiness against a rival struggling to find its rhythm this season. Trevor Lawrence led the charge for Jacksonville, throwing for 233 yards and two touchdowns, while Travis Johnson emerged as his favorite target, racking up an impressive 143 receiving yards. The Jaguars' offense was efficient and relentless, consistently moving the ball and capitalizing on opportunities to score, ultimately putting the game out of reach for the Colts. Defensively, the Jaguars made their presence felt, with Cameron Price contributing significantly by recording 1.5 sacks. The turning point came in the second quarter when Price's pressure led to a crucial turnover, allowing Jacksonville to extend their lead and effectively put the game on ice. Despite Sauce Gardner's strong performance for Indianapolis, which included seven total tackles and an interception, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide against the overwhelming Jaguar offense.
