In a tightly contested season opener, the Baltimore Ravens narrowly defeated the Cleveland Browns, 14-10, to kick off the 2027 NFL season. Both teams were looking to establish their dominance early, but it was the Ravens who ultimately came out on top in this crucial matchup. Lamar Jackson led the Ravens' offense, tossing one touchdown while contributing to the team's overall rhythm. Taylen Green of the Browns had a solid performance with 189 passing yards, but it was Derrick Henry's ground game that helped Baltimore control the tempo, as he racked up 62 rushing yards. Nyck Harbor also made an impact for Cleveland with 57 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to secure a win. Defensively, the Ravens were relentless, with Kyle Hamilton leading the charge with 10 total tackles. Adisa Isaac added pressure with a crucial sack, while Marlon Humphrey's interception proved to be a pivotal moment in the game, stifling a potential Cleveland scoring drive. The Ravens’ balanced defensive effort ultimately secured their victory and set the tone for the season ahead.
