The Jacksonville Jaguars opened their 2027 season with a solid 27-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans. With both teams looking to establish early momentum, the Jaguars emerged on top, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Trevor Lawrence was the star of the show for Jacksonville, throwing for 243 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating both precision and poise. He found Brian Thomas Jr. frequently, who racked up an impressive 117 receiving yards, making critical catches that kept drives alive. The Jaguars' offense delivered a balanced attack that kept the Titans' defense guessing throughout the game. On the defensive side, Caleb Ransaw made a significant impact, securing an interception that shifted the game's momentum in favor of Jacksonville. The Titans struggled to find their rhythm, with Keldric Faulk's two sacks providing some highlights but ultimately not enough to change the tide. The Jaguars' ability to respond to pressure and capitalize on key defensive plays proved to be the turning point in this contest.
