In a tightly contested matchup, the Seattle Seahawks outlasted the Minnesota Vikings with a final score of 27-19, securing their second win of the season. The stakes were high for both teams as they aimed to establish momentum early in the 2027 campaign. Seahawks quarterback Jalen Milroe put on a stellar performance, throwing for 309 yards and three touchdowns, leading his team to victory. He connected frequently with Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who racked up an impressive 144 receiving yards, proving to be a key target in critical moments. Meanwhile, Nick Chubb of the Vikings showcased his skill on the ground, rushing for 102 yards, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide. Defensively, the Seahawks made their presence felt, with Keon Sabb recording 12 total tackles and Nehemiah Pritchett contributing a sack that pressured the Vikings’ offense at crucial points. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Seattle's defense stifled a potential game-tying drive, forcing Minnesota to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown. This defensive stand ultimately sealed the win for the Seahawks, allowing them to leave Minnesota with a hard-fought victory.
