In a high-octane matchup, the New England Patriots topped the Green Bay Packers 45-24 in Week 9 of the 2026 season. With playoff implications on the line, the Patriots delivered a commanding performance at home, showcasing their offensive prowess and defensive resilience. Drake Maye was the star for New England, throwing for four touchdowns and steering the offense with precision. A.J. Brown was a standout target, racking up an impressive 184 receiving yards, while TreVeyon Henderson added 85 yards on the ground to keep the chains moving. Jordan Love of the Packers also had a solid outing, throwing for 329 yards, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with the explosive Patriots' offense. Defensively, the Patriots made critical plays that influenced the game's outcome. Christian Barmore anchored the defensive line with two sacks, putting pressure on Love throughout the game, while Robert Spillane led the team in tackles with seven. The turning point came when Christian Gonzalez intercepted Love, halting a potential comeback and allowing New England to stretch their lead, sealing the victory and solidifying their position in the playoff race.
