In a thrilling matchup, the New Orleans Saints topped the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-20 in Week 7 of the 2027 season. The stakes were high as both teams vied for playoff positioning, but it was the Saints who emerged victorious, bolstered by a dominant offensive performance. Tyler Shough led the charge for New Orleans, throwing for an impressive 317 yards and two touchdowns, showcasing his ability to connect with his receivers under pressure. Chris Olave was a standout target, racking up 156 receiving yards and proving to be a game-changer for the Saints' passing attack. Meanwhile, the Jaguars struggled to find their rhythm, with LeQuint Allen Jr. leading in rushing yards but unable to break through the Saints' defensive front. Defensively, the Saints were anchored by Justin Reid, who recorded seven total tackles, helping to stifle the Jaguars' offensive efforts. The game's turning point came in the fourth quarter when New Orleans' defense held strong, preventing any further score from Jacksonville and allowing the Saints to secure the win. With this victory, the Saints continue to solidify their playoff aspirations, while the Jaguars will need to regroup as they head into the latter part of the season.
