In an exhilarating Week 7 showdown, the Seattle Seahawks narrowly defeated the Kansas City Chiefs with a final score of 52-49. Both teams entered the game with playoff aspirations, making this matchup a pivotal moment in the 2026 season. The high stakes were evident as each squad pushed their limits, but it was the Seahawks who ultimately emerged victorious. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes delivered an impressive performance, throwing for 378 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing his elite skills under pressure. However, it was the Seahawks' rushing attack that stole the spotlight, with Rashid Shaheed racking up 190 yards on the ground, complementing Tory Horton’s 117 receiving yards. Together, they formed a dynamic offensive duo that kept the Chiefs' defense on its heels throughout the game. Defensively, the Seahawks made several key plays that turned the tide in their favor. DeMarcus Lawrence’s two sacks and Ty Okada’s two interceptions were instrumental in disrupting Mahomes' rhythm and stifling Kansas City's momentum. The turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Okada’s second pick set up the game-winning drive, sealing a thrilling victory for Seattle in front of their home crowd.
