The Baltimore Ravens held off the Houston Texans with a final score of 27-19 in Week 9 of the 2027 season. This hard-fought victory keeps the Ravens in strong contention for the playoffs, while the Texans faced a setback in their pursuit of a postseason berth. C.J. Stroud had a standout performance for the Texans, throwing for 324 yards and a touchdown, showcasing his ability to move the ball downfield. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry led the Ravens' ground attack with 53 rushing yards, contributing to a balanced offensive effort that propelled Baltimore to victory. Rookie receiver Nico Collins also made his presence felt for Houston, racking up 142 receiving yards, but it wasn't enough to clinch the win. Defensively, Roquan Smith was a force for the Ravens, recording seven total tackles to help contain the Texans' offense. The game turned in the second half when Antonio Johnson intercepted Stroud twice, stifling Houston's momentum and allowing Baltimore to maintain control. Tommy Togiai added pressure with 1.5 sacks, but it was the Ravens' ability to capitalize on key turnovers that ultimately sealed the game.
