In a tightly contested matchup, the New York Jets narrowly defeated the Indianapolis Colts 24-21 in Week 12 of the 2027 season. With playoff implications on the line, both teams fought hard for a crucial victory, but it was the Jets who emerged victorious in the end. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. was impressive through the air, throwing for 238 yards and two touchdowns, while Jonathan Taylor added 60 rushing yards to the mix. Alec Pierce shined as a receiving target, posting 96 yards, but it wasn't enough to secure the win for Indianapolis. The Jets, however, were able to capitalize on key opportunities, showcasing their ability to finish drives effectively. Defensively, the Jets were led by Demario Davis, who recorded eight tackles, while D'Angelo Ponds made a critical interception that shifted momentum in favor of New York. The game's turning point came late in the fourth quarter when Ponds' pick set up a touchdown drive, allowing the Jets to take the lead. Despite a valiant effort from the Colts' defense, anchored by Amare Barno's 1.5 sacks, they couldn't stop the Jets from sealing the victory.
